Volunteering
Opportunities

One of the best ways to spread kindness throughout the community is to give back through volunteering. Not only does volunteering give back to the community, but teaches you important skills and introduces you to new people. Get more involved now! Click "Learn More" below to search for opportunities near you.

Compliment Someone

Regardless if they're a family member, friend, or even a stranger; complimenting someone is the easiest way to make someone's day!

Smile at a Stranger

Smiling helps relieve stress for you and others! It helps you live longer  and elevate you and others moods!

Hold Open a Door

By holding open the door for someone, even if it is a simple act, this can still help someone's day be easier!

Give Someone a Hug

Hugs can help boost oxytocin levels, which are known for helping relieve negative feelings.

Ask Someone About Their Day

Sometimes people can be having a hard day, and so you taking the opportunity to ask them about it can help their burden be released even for just a few minutes.

Write a Thank You Letter

Writing a thank you letter helps express your appreciation for people's help! It also shows how much you care and can improve one's happiness.

Volunteer at a Hospital

Volunteering at a hospital helps as it contributes to both the patient's satisfaction and also reduces anxiety of the patient's loved ones.

Give Your Seat to Someone

If the option arises, let someone take your seat! Especially those who look tired, sad, or might need a little boost; this little act of kindness is a great way to make their day.
